The labeling of vaccine ampoules and syringes is much more challenging than it appears at first glance. Adhesion to curved surfaces with diameters between 10-25mm, different surface materials made of glass and plastics such as HDPE or LDPE and extreme requirements such as storage at sub-zero temperatures of up to -196°C (liquid nitrogen) are typical requirements for the labeling of pharmaceutical products. In addition, the labels must also meet the production requirements, such as the dispensing speed during the filling or packaging process of ampoules, vials or auto-injectors.
